SENIOR PASTOR RANDY & ELIZABETH SEYBERT

Soon after the church began in 1991, Randy Seybert and Dr. Ed Brockway were appointed as its co-pastors. Randy continued to serve as the county Extension agent - agriculture for Morris County, a position he held since 1982 and Dr. Brockway continued his veterinary practice. After a couple of years, Randy was ordained as Senior Pastor and Ed as the Associate Pastor. In August 1996, Randy resigned his position as county agent and began full-time service as the church’s pastor. Randy's wife, Elizabeth, resigned her position as 6th grade teacher at Paul Pewitt and began her full-time service to the church in September 2003.
Randy has been aware of the call of God on his life since 1973 when he experienced the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Since that time, Randy has been teaching, preaching, and ministering in various capacities: preaching at youth meetings; organizing Bible studies on both his high school and university campuses; serving as the Chaplain of the 2000 member Corps Of Cadets at Texas A&M; and as youth leader, worship leader, and teaching elder of various churches before being called to the office of pastor.
Elizabeth has a heart to see everyone experience the love and joy of God. She has come along Randy’s side and provides a very valuable support to her husband as well as the whole congregation. In addition to assisting Randy with the daily needs of the congregation, Elizabeth’s ministry also includes administration, teaching, counseling, and overseeing the ladies’ ministry.

Elizabeth, a native of Fordyce, Arkansas, graduated from Southern Arkansas
University in 1978 and taught school until their first child was born in 1984. She resumed teaching when Emily started to school and taught until her resignation in May 2003.
